The perfect order rate is the percentage of orders that arrive on time, complete, undamaged and with correct documentation, all at the same time. It is a stricter measure than any one of those rates alone.
Enter the four rates as percentages, based on the same set of orders and the same period. The calculator multiplies them, which assumes the failures are independent. If one problem tends to cause another (for example, a stockout causing both a late and an incomplete order), the true rate is somewhat higher than this estimate.
Use it as a scorecard rather than a target. The most useful output is which of the four rates is the weakest, because improving that one moves the perfect order rate the most.

Perfect order rate
89.4%
Weakest link: on-time (95%)
How the calculation works
Perfect order rate = on-time rate × in-full rate × damage-free rate × accurate-documents rate, each as a fraction, then × 100.
Example: 0.95 × 0.98 × 0.99 × 0.97 = 0.894, so about 89.4 percent of orders are perfect even though every single rate looks strong.
The multiplication assumes independent failures. If one root cause produces several failures on the same order, the real perfect order rate is a little higher than the calculated one.
